COR (Latin for “heart”) is the Knights of Columbus’s flexible framework of prayer, formation, and fraternity designed to center men’s hearts on Jesus and build Christ‑centered brotherhood. Founded by Blessed Michael McGivney, the Knights of Columbus call every man to holiness and a fatherly vocation. COR continues this mission by uniting men’s hearts with Christ, transforming them through authentic relationships with God and one another.
The Three Elements are:
Prayer – “Lifting Hearts to God” through shared prayer to deepen faith and relationship with Christ.
Formation – “Becoming Like Christ” via intentional, structured growth in faith, virtue, and mission.
Fraternity – “Brotherhood in Christ” — a deep, Christ‑centered brotherhood that sharpens and supports men in their vocations
All Catholic men are welcome.
